Shilpa Shetty was born on 8 June 1975 in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. Shilpa Shetty is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. She has done her schooling from St. Anthony Girls’ High School in Chembur, Mumbai and later attended Podar College in Matunga. She was also involved in sports and was the captain of the volleyball team in school. She has a black belt in karate. Shilpa was crowned as the winner of British Celebrity reality TV show Big Brother in 2007. She is an Indian film actress, producer and former model. The elder sister of actress Shamita Shetty, she appears predominantly in Bollywood films, however, she has also worked in a few Telugu, Tamil and Kannada language films. She made her debut in bollywood with the film Baazigar in 1993. The following year she delivered another blockbuster hit ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ opposite Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.
